Regional Obituary Thomas Thomson LAURENS '97 Funeral services for Thomas Thomsen, 86, Estherville, are tentatively set for Monday at the Laurens United Methodist Church. He died Friday morning at the Good Samaritan Center, Estherville. Mr. Thomsen was born in Denmark in 1889 and came to the United States in 1912. He -was married Feb. 22,1916 and farmed in the Albert City and Laurens areas until 1945 when he began working at the hospital and school in Laurens. He has lived in Estherville for the past year and a half. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Orville (Catherine) Heidecker, Estherville; and Mrs. Marcia Hogevoll, Hagerstown, Md.; two sons, Warren Thomsen, Moorhead, Minn.; and Howard, Fort Collins, Colo. The Hitchcock Funeral Home, Laurens, is in charge of arrangements.
